2) Oracle DBA

Summary Description : The Oracle Data Base Administrator shall be an experienced professional that has performed the applicable duties in a large scale enterprise environment. The professional shall be responsible for all aspects of administering  Client's Oracle databases and servers. Additional responsibilities will be to utilize ancillary products for monitoring and support of the environments. Job requirements include hardware and software trouble shooting, Oracle software installation and configuration, and working with IT clients to help implement in-house and third party database applications. It is desirable that this person also have experience with Informix, Oracle Financials, Sybase, SQL Server, Business Objects and/or Informatica.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities :

1. Perform all aspects of Oracle data base administration.
2. Provide 24x7 on-call for 7-days (every 3 to 4 weeks)
3. Perform occasional support at Business Continuity data center in Austin and Houston.
4. Write procedures/scripts to satisfy a variety of requirements in support of the Oracle environments.
5. Monitor server performance with various tools and methods.
6. Troubleshoot server and application performance issues.
